About Me

I am currently working as a postdoctoral fellow at the McConnell Brain Imaging Centre, Montreal Neurological Institute.

In March 2015, I defended my PhD dissertation titled: “Augmented reality visualization in neurovascular surgery”.

In June 2008, I switched departments and began my PhD in the Biomedical Engineering Department at McGill University under the supervision of Louis Collins.

In January 2007, I began my PhD studies at the School of Computer Science, McGill University, Montreal.

From Nov. 2005 to Dec. 2006 I worked as a research assistant at the GRIS (Wilhelm Schickard Institut für Informatik, GRaphisch-Interaktive Systeme) at the University of Tübingen, Germany. The primary focus of my work at GRIS was medical image registration.

In August 2005, I completed my Master’s thesis under the supervision of Dr. James Stewart and Dr. Randy Ellis, in the Medical Computing Laboratory at Queen’s University. The lab is primarily concerned with Computer Aided Orthopedic Surgery (CAOS) and the advancement of techniques for use in computer assisted surgery. Our research group works in conjunction with Kingston General Hospital and the Human Mobility Research Center.
