Hi, I am a Ph.D. student in neuropsychology at the MNI. I have two very different research interests. The first is in chemoreception science. Using PET/MRI methodology in conjunction with psychophysical experiments, I am hoping learn about the role of hedonic processing in taste. In particular, I think it difficult to separate taste from hedonics, given that these two systems probably developed hand in hand. My second area of interest is in a very new area, called behavioral neurotoxicology.
