Spatial Inhomogoneneities in Registration Algorithms

[1] classify temporal hierarchies of registration into those of data, those of descriptors of deformation or warp, and those of complexity of model. In a similar vein, we classify spatial inhomogeneities as those in the data influence, in the strength of deformation constraints, and in the application of model type.
