You login on bottom and type '/usr/etc/nwrecover' or '/usr/etc/recover' if you fear not a non-gui interface, a rarity these days ;) Check the the white box at the left of your home directory on the left window. A blue tick will appear after a while. You then have to select a 'browsing time' in the past, as per default the present time of the browsing ('now') will be taken and you will restore your stuff at the latest backup time before 'now', not what you want! Go in the menu 'Change -> Browsing Time' and pick up a day before your fatal mistake. Note that the backup starts at 22:35 every evening. So you will probably lose some files between the backup time and your mishap. So you go back in the past, before your fatal 'rm -rf *', then hit 'Start' and wait for the backup sw to put back the tapes online and start the recover. You will then have to resolve potential conflicts between already existing files in your home and those on the backup. This is the default. You can do this 'in place' in your home directory, or in some other directory to avoid conflicts and then copy the stuuf you want in ~dgold. To do this create a directory somewhere, and type the path in the box popup by going into the menu 'Options -> relocate'. HTH jf
