Fruit Cobbler, from The Well Fed Backpacker Group I Ingredients: 2 c dried fruits, chopped small sugar and a little spice chopped nuts are also nice Group II Ingredients: 2 cups biscuit mix 1/3 c dried milk 1/3 c brown sugar spices to taste 1/4 c margarine At home: Put all Group I ingredients in a zip-lock bag. Put Group II ingredients in a separate zip-lock bag. In camp: Cover fruit with water, bring to a boil and cook until not quite tender (4-6 minutes). While this is cooking, add enough water to dough to make it fairly stiff; seal bag; knead with fingers. When fruit is ready, squeeze dough evenly over it and push it down in to the fruit a little. Partially cover pot and cook for 8 more minutes. Enjoy!!
