Hi! I am a former graduate student of the McConnell Brain Imaging Centre (BIC). My Master's in BioMedical Engineering (BME) at McGill University was under the supervision of Dr. Alan C. Evans (ACE) and Dr. Barry J. Bedell (SAIL). (CV/resume is available upon request).
The above picture was taken at the Machu Picchu site in Peru. I spent a month backpacking and volunteering there in 2005, and hope to return sometime soon.
Projects
- Adapting existing image processing techniques for human MRI pipeline analysis to rodent models of neurological disease
- Applying automatic morphometric techniques to MR images in order to characterize disease progression and treatment effects
- Correlating findings against immunohistochemistry and manual volumetry
