It is important to be able to visualize blood vessels for surgery planning. One basic technique has been volume visualization - a technique I studied while completing my master's thesis (example images low compression,high compression). The CT angiographic data set below was acquired on the Morphometre in Rennes, France (raw data courtesy of Dr. Christian Barillot).
