Personal Interests

Cultural Interests

A look at my rhythmic side. A look at my silly side which can safely not be described as a cultural interest (Halloweens past, and other pictures they tried to blackmail me with).

I've a lifelong interest in cooking, which has recently taken me to the Academie Culinaire de Montreal I also have a lot of interest in music, particularly classical, and can be seen now and then at either the Lanaudiere Music Festival or at the MSO. Favourite composers include, in chronological order, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy and more recently, Arvo Part. I also like pop and jazz, but mercifully, I'll spare you the details, except to endorse After Hours, the CBC Radio jazz program with Ross Porter, who has the smokiest voice on radio and an anecdote for every jazz musician in existence.

Sports

I admit to being a bit of a soccer, hockey, tennis and squash afficionado, as a player and fan.

I've been known to dabble (can't think of a gentler euphemism :-) in golf in the Montreal area. I work out with Nautilus and aerobic machines, do a little inline skating. I'm also PADI-certified for scuba diving (although my last dive dates back a couple years).
