Welcome to my home page at BIC. I am a Research Associate
working in medical image
processing, algorithms and software.
I studied theoretical and mathematical physics,
received my Ph.D. at McGill and went on as a postdoctoral fellow at MIT's
Center for Theoretical Physics.
Projects and Responsibilities
- Calibration Tests and Image Quality Control for the AI-100-005 Clinical Trial.
- Manager for the Neurocrine Biosciences NBI-5788-01 Clinical Trial.
- Image Processing for the Automatic Lesion Quantification Algorithm (ALQUA).
- Organizing the BIAS (Brain Imaging Algorithms and Software) weekly meetings
at BIC dedicated to Markov Random Fields methods in computer vision.
- Research in pattern recognition, segmentation, sharing information between MRI,
PET, SPECT.
Research Interests
My present research interests include:
- Mathematical and physical principles in Image Processing and Computer Vision
- Markov Random Fields, Neural Networks, Fuzzy Sets, Information Theory.
- Neural modeling
- Parallel algorithms, use of supercomputers.
