Using the Keyboard

Although this manual is oriented toward using the mouse to control the programme, there are some occasions when keyboard control may be desired. First, though, it is necessary to learn some terminology. At any time one control on the screen is the currently selected control. It is quite easy to tell when an item on the screen is the currently selected item. It is usually a different shade, or has an extra coloured line surrounding it. Generally, keyboard use consists of making the control you want the currently selected item, and then activating it. Keyboard use is almost as easy as mouse use:
