Introduction

A sample set is a set of sample tubes used during the course of a single study. Each sample set is identified with a letter and a date. For example, the second set weighed on August 4, 1992 would be labelled 04AUG92B. The blood lab computer software allows up to 26 sample sets to be weighed on any day, with each sample set having a maximum of 100 samples. If you require more that 100 samples in a sample set, please consult the Blood Lab Computer - Programmer's Manual for information on changing this limitation.
