The MNI ICBM MRI data base has been updated. The old data base (available from /data/icbm/mri1/subject) no longer exists. The new database is accessible from /data/icbm/mri1/new_icbm/subjects. All projects should now be using the new data base.

The suggested method of using existing labels is simply to load them into Display on top of the new mni_icbm_00XXX_t1_final.mnc volume, and go through the structure and validate the segmentation. Since the changes in the stereotaxic transformation are less than 1-2 pixels at the cortex, only small changes will be need to correct individual segmentations.

On December 17, the new data base will be moved to the original data base location in /data/icbm/mri1/subjects.
