There are two versions of the thesis available - one is a single
gzipped ps file (6Mb) and the other is in 13 0.5Mb files. 

In order to recreate the postscript version of the thesis for the 13
pieces, the following command have to be executed:

cat collinsphd94.ps.gz.0* >! collinsphd94.ps.gz
gunzip collinsphd94.ps.gz

The postscript file collinsphd94.ps is then ready for viewing or
printing.
