I believe that modeling and theory should guide neuroscience: experimentation is fundamental for both guiding new models development and helping to choose which models are reliable and may describe nature and which are just theoretical possibilities; on the other hand, modeling is an art of reducing a problem to tackle the fundamental principles that may cause the observed phenomena. Thus, my interest lies in doing research in the interface between model and experiments.
