  Contents
- hyperslab - An N-dimensional block of data. Known as a
``hypercube'' if all dimensions are equal.
- volume - A MINC file. Volume and file can be used interchangeably
as it is not common to use volume for more than
3 dimensions and MINC 2 is N dimensional.
- voxel - Volume element, analogous to ``pixel'' for ``picture
element''. A single datapoint in a multidimensional image.
- opaque datatype - An object oriented concept used to refer
to datatypes whose implementation details are explicitly hidden from
the programmer.
