Nikola Stikov, PhD

I am a postdoctoral fellow in the MR Neuroimaging Lab of Dr. Bruce Pike, developing new magnetic resonance imaging techniques for quantifying the myelin microstructure. I completed my BS, MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, and my research advisor was Dr. John Pauly at the Magnetic Resonance Systems Research Lab. While at Stanford, I won the Electrical Engineering Outstanding Service Award and the Stanford Centennial Teaching Assistant Award. In May 2014 I was elected a Junior Fellow of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM).
