Welcome to my home page. I am a PhD candidate in the Department of
Biomedical Engineering at
McGill University. My research
project is pursued at the
McConnell Brain Imaging Center of the Montreal Neurological
Institute. The goal is to develop realistic simulation tools to
evaluate and optimize Positron Emission Tomography data collection,
image reconstruction, ROI analysis and parameter estimation for
quantitative study of the human brain function. For more details
about my training and expertise you are invited to read this
Postscript or
Web Resume. Here is the Abstract.
Here is the BrainPET99 Paper.
Projects and Responsibilities
- Design of a simulation system to model PET data acquisition
and image reconstruction.
- Application of PET simulation tools to optimize a number of
clinical imaging protocols.
- Improvement and maintainance of PET simulation programs for
local and outside users.
- User's Guide gives a brief
documentation and usage of this 3-D simulation system.
