Source code and binary releases

The source code and binary releases for CIVET-2.1.1 are now available.

Binary archives are currently available for CentOS 7, Ubuntu 16.04 and Ubuntu 18.04. These provide a quick and convenient installation of CIVET without the trouble of compiling the source code.

Please follow the instructions on the github page for CIVET’s installation.

Note: Binary archives for CIVET-2.1.0 are not available on these recent operating systems, mostly due to the inability to compile the old code with the newer compilers and run some PERL scripts with the newer version of PERL. Although the source code for CIVET-2.1.0 is also available in github, as is the full history of CIVET, it is no longer possible to build theses binaries with today’s compilers.
