Using POM and the Slide Maker

POM is the program that takes the images of the slides created by Showcase or PowerPoint, creates high resolution versions of them, and sends them to the slide maker. If you have followed the preceding instructions for creating your slides, this part should be very easy. Hopefully the next two sub-sections will be sufficient to guide you.

One point of terminology to remember, though, is that ``slides'' refers to the slide maker whether it is being used for slides or prints. In POM, ``prints'' refers to a colour paper printer that we do not have. Never set any of the ``print'' options.
