Post Doctoral Fellow -

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the lab of Dr. Bruce Pike. I am a Cognitive Neuroscientist working on language processing. My research interests lie in the area of meaning access and representation patterns, as well as language localization. Having worked with both normal and language-impaired populations (patients with left or right hemisphere damage) for my PhD, I am now using EEG, MEG and fMRI methodology to investigate the role of the left and the right hemispheres in the processing of alternative interpretations of linguistic units (lexical ambiguity). This research aims to provide converging evidence concerning the neural and cognitive processes involved in lexical ambiguity, in an attempt to shed more light into the neural dynamics underlying language.
