I study the role of dopamine inthe transition from drug use to abuse and dependence. My work focuses on therole of previous drug exposue, drug cues, personality, and family history inpredicting dopaminergic responses to stimulant drugs. I primarily study theseeffects with PET using the dopamine D2/D3 sensitive tracer [11C]raclopride.
