Saima Malik is a PhD student in the Department of Neurology & Neurosurgery at McGill University. Under the supervision of Dr. Alain Dagher at the McConnell Brain Imaging Center, her research aims to understand normal feeding behavior. Using functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging, she examines the role of ghrelin in appetite regulation, as well as how expectation to eat influences the cerebral response to visual food stimuli.
