Laurence Mercier

Ph.D. student - Image Processing Lab (IPL)

Laurence Mercier is a PhD student in biomedical engineering supervised by Dr Louis Collins. Her research interests include: neuronavigation, image registration and intraoperative imaging. Her current research project focuses on brain tumor resection guided by tracked ultrasound. For this project she collaborates with Dr Rolando Del Maestro and Dr Kevin Petrecca, two neurosurgeons specialized in brain tumors here at the Neuro.

Laurence completed her Master’s degree in biomedical engineering at McGill and her bachelor’s degree in computer engineering at Polytechnique of Montreal.
