Yiming Xiao

Ph.D. student - Image Processing Lab (IPL)

Yiming Xiao graduated from the honor program of B. Eng. of Electrical at McGill University in 2009, with main concentrations in telecommunication and Automation & Control. Under the supervision of Dr. Tal Arbel at Center for Intelligent Machines (CIM), Yiming finished his undergraduate honor thesis on the topic of MRI image normalization methods for patients with Multiple-Sclerosis. In 2011, Yiming Xiao completed his Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Louis Collins, at Montreal Neurological Institute, McGill University. Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate under the supervision of Dr. Louis Collins, investigating new methodologies for image-guided neurosurgery.
