MRS: Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy Lab

The MRS Unit uses conventional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS) and other advanced imaging techniques.

The MRS Unit uses conventional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS) and other advanced imaging techniques such as Magnetization Transfer Imaging (MTI) to gain a better understanding of the nature, evolution and response to therapy of neurological disorders, particularly multiple sclerosis (MS). Increasingly, the laboratory is focusing on the development and use of advanced image processing of MRI data in order to probe more deeply into the pathogenesis of disease and how this is affected by therapeutic interventions.
