SAIL: Small Animal Imaging Laboratory

SAIL is a multi-disciplinary team of researchers developing and using state-of-the-art technologies to further our understanding of CNS diseases

We integrate multiple cutting-edge techniques, including non-invasive imaging, experimental neuropathology, molecular biology, and informatics, to create holistic pictures of diseases of the central nervous system. The SAIL team includes physicists, chemists, neuropathologists, animal modelers, molecular biologists, computer scientists, and engineers. By combining our strengths in these seemingly disparate fields, we have built a unique environment to expand our comprehension of the devastating diseases of the CNS.
