Marcel Heers, MD., Post-Doctoral Fellow

Marcel

Dr. Marcel Heers received his degree as MD at Witten/Herdecke University, Germany. During his residency program as Neurologist in Germany he became interested in clinical magnetoencephlographic/electroencephalographic source imaging (MSI/ESI) in epilepsy patients. He received the EEG certificate of the German Society of Clinical Neurophysiology. The German Chapter of the International League against epilepsy (ILAE) certified him as Epileptologist. Currently he is working on comparing MSI/ESI results with EEG-fMRI BOLD responses in epilepsy patients.
