The student will work in the context of source localization of ongoing brain activity recorded during resting state using either Electro-EncephaloGraphy (EEG) or Magnetro-EncephaloGraphy (MEG). The overall purpose is to characterize the structure of resting state fluctuations of neuronal bioelectrical activity during resting state in healthy controls. The objective of this research summer internship will consist in implementing a realistic simulation framework in order to assess the pertinence of different “connectivity metric” to assess communication between different brain areas in specific frequency bands (e.g. correlation, Granger causality, coherence, … ).
