Nicolás von Ellenrieder, Ph.D., Visiting professor

Nicolás

Nicolás von Ellenrieder recieved the graduate degree in electronics engineering and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the National University of La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1998 and 2005, respectively. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, National University of La Plata. He is also a member of Argentina’s Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET). Since July 2013 he is a visiting professor at Dr. Gotman’s epilepsy lab at the Montreal Neurological Institute.

Research interests

His research interests include numerical modelling and statistical signal and image processing in biomedical and communication applications. Of particular interest is the application of signal processing techniques to multimodal epilepsy data.
